A lag deposit at the Kompaneskii Site, Urup Island. Visible on the surface are historic iron, glass, and porcelain (plates and electrical insulators), as well as prehistoric stone tools and tool-making debris (flakes), and Epi-Jomon style cord-marked pottery. Urup Island, Kuril Islands, Russia.
