Robert Falcon Scott's Terra Nova Expedition hut is located at Cape Evans on Ross Island, Antarctica. The hut was built in 1911 and was the base for Scott's second and final attempt to reach the Geographic South Pole. While Scott and his team did reach the South Pole, just after Roald Amundsen and his team became the first people to reach the Pole, Scott and his team died on their way back to the hut.
