Natasha Griffin collects soil samples near the aeolian experiment. Aeolian means "wind deposited". The device in front of Natasha is a bundt pan with marbles in it. Dust from the wind gets trapped inside. Dust samples are then collected and checked for wind deposited microbial animals. Note the additional collecting pans in the background. F6 Camp, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica.
