This close-up look inside an Acoela flatworm shows lipid spheres (essentially stored fat) and some bits of diatoms that it ate. The diatom bits look long and skinny compared to the lipid spheres. Aboard the USCGC Healy at the Alpha Ridge in the Arctic Ocean. 82.88°, -149.56°.
