Details

An Arctic ground squirrel peeks out of a burrow after being released. The team refers to him as blue-yellow because of the colors of his ear tag. The colored wires are attached to uniquely numbered ear tags for more precise identification. Atigun River near Toolik Field Station, Alaska.
