Details

Bill Schmoker fills sample bottles with filtered water for later nutrients analysis. The white cylinder on the end of the syringe is a .22-micron filter to remove virtually any tiny particles from the water. In the starboard staging area aboard the USCGC Healy icebreaker in the Arctic Ocean.
