This is an outside view of the old dome station. Originally the entrance had a more elaborate tunnel, but it has been dismantled already. The dome is a geodesic dome built of aluminum triangles, and it is 50 meters across and 16 meters high. At the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Antarctica.
