C-130s are the primary means of transportation to and from the South Pole. As this one lands, the air forms a vortex at the tip of the wing, and the abrupt change in pressure causes the little bit of water vapor in the air to condense into ice crystals. Near the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Antarctica.
