Details

Here is a view of an IceTop tank, in the process of freezing. It doesn't look particularly clear, but that's because of a layer of ice crystals on top which don't affect the sensor. It will take approximately 53 days for this amount of water to freeze solid. Near the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Antarctica.
