Details

Gerty Ward holds in the top of the ITP antenna dome with her foot to keep it from popping off while Rick Krishfield works on the other end. The red hatch that she is sitting on is an escape hatch for the engine room below. Aboard the Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker Louis S. St-Laurent, on the Beaufort Sea.
