Mammoth tusks from the last ice age (10,000 - 50,000 years ago) can be found in some of the shops in Fairbanks, Alaska. Apparently the tusks appear as the permafrost is cut away by meandering streams and the locals pick them up for resale. Here, Craig is pulling off his piece of tusk for purchase.
