Ann Linsley: "I thought the sea ice was spectacular in contrast with the sky. The blue shades of both gave the illusion that the floor could be the ceiling or vice versa. The sea ice had spectacular formations the closer you reached the pressure ridges." Looking west across the sea ice in the vicinity of McMurdo Station, Antarctica.
