Details

Investigations of sea ice ice blowing in from north of St. Paul Island. Most of the grounded pack ice was over 70 cm in thickness and had several species of ice algae growing among the crystals. 7th and 8th grade classes from St. George and St. Paul schools pose with Michelle Ridgway and PSD teacher Dan Ferrari. Michelle Ridgway visits St. Pribilof School District for Bering Sea Days festivities on St. Paul Island, Alaska.
